Alistair and Jonathan Brownlee, London 2012 Olympic Gold and Bronze medallists, are bringing a brand new open water super-sprint triathlon to Yorkshire. Athletes will have the opportunity to race over the same course as the Brownlee brothers, and watch the world’s top triathletes in action.
The event is set to be inclusive of all, whether you are new to triathlon and entering your first race, or an experienced triathlete looking to compare times with the best.
The race is set for Saturday 21 September 2013. Venue details are still being kept top secret, but the event’s website, www.brownleetriathlon.com states proudly that no other triathlon has ever been held at the location before.
